2020 Soccer Team Highlights
  • St. Francis ranked No. 25 nationally by Maxpreps and No. 28 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Fab 50. SF is No. 10/12 in the state rankings and No. 5 in the regional list.
  • St. Francis lost in the semifinals of the CIF Northern California Division I Regional to eventual champion Carondelet 3-2. The Troubadours were the No. 5 seed and upset No. 4 Oak Ridge in the opening round.
  • The Troubadours won the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II final 3-2 over Ponderosa.
  • St. Francis (23-3-3) finished second in the Delta League with a 9-1-2 overall record. SF was 10-2-2 at home and 6-0-1 on the road with a 7-1-1 neutral field mark.
  • SF upset nationally-ranked No. 22 Davis, handing the Blue Devils their first loss of the season and first in league since 2015. It was the first win for St Francis over Davis since the Section semifinals in 2015.
  • Junior Jackie Stanco was joined by senior Taylor Earle, senior Marli Berry, junior Jane Gregory and junior Hailey Lemon on the first team. Senior Grace Barger and sophomore Kenna Delemos were second-team selections.
  • Senior Grace Barger received the Cornerstone Award and handed out the Golden Boot to junior Hailey Lemon as last year's recipient. Lemon was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player and junior Jackie Stanco received the Offensive Most Valuable Player after leading the team in goals with 22. Sophomore Kenna Delemos was the recipient of the Newcomer of the Year, while junior Maggie Price received the Delta League Sportsmanship Award. The team awards are voted on by the players.
  • College commitment include Emily Billena (Chico State), Mari Berry (Howard), Lindsey Piatanesi (Chico State), and Micayla Ratukalou (Delta College).
  • Head Coach Maryclaire Robinson won her 100th career game with the victory over Christian Brothers.
  • The St. Francis soccer program was named one of 36 high school schools (26 girl's programs)  in the nation to receive the inaugural Team Pinnacle Award by the United Soccer Coaches. The Troubadours were the only program in the state of California to earn the distinction. The awards were announced at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Baltimore.
  • The St. Francis soccer team finished second in the Sac-Joaquin Section Winter Team rankings behind only Summerville (3.60). The Troubadours recorded a 3.54 GPA as a team to place ahead of Rio Vista (3.49), league rival Franklin of Elk Grove (3.47) and Enochs (3.45).
