When you think of the word Holy Cup, what does that mean to you?
"I just think of the energy, and the passion that goes into it. I mean it's a rivalry game we look forward to every year with so much anticipation goes into preparing for it and I'm really excited that this year everyone can be there because earlier on in the year we thought we might be missing girls who are going to go play the last ECNL trip. So I'm excited that everyone's going to be there and going full force."

What did it mean to you to win the Cornerstone Award last year?
"It's such an honor since it is team voted it means so much to me that my peers are voting me into the position. It's definitely a huge honor."

When you look back playing 4 years of varsity, what does that mean to you to be a part of the program and intrical part of it?
"It's meant everything to me, when I look back it's crazy to think I'm in my senior year now. I remember all my seasons and playing with so many girls who inspired me to play and the love of the game. There are so many great leaders throughout the years that really inspired me and I made so many awesome friends through the program. It is definitely something I will never forget."

How hard is it to do the two sports, and two clubs and basically being a student athlete all year long?
"It's definitely very challenging, especially my junior year. It was very challenging during my spring semester, but it's what I love to do it's so much fun, I love finishing soccer, last year was the best finish we could have imagined. And then going straight into the new season with lacrosse with new girls playing different sport everyone loved the game and both have amazing coaches. I just love the transition in being able to do both, and I'm really thankful that St. Francis gives me that opportunity."

What did that winning the team title last year mean to you?
"I mean it meant everything. We worked so hard all season and we had so many seniors who just inspired the whole team and their love for the game just trickled down through everybody. Everybody was so passionate about the sport and it was just the cohesion with the team really made it. To reach that goal by the end of the season was just amazing. It was the best feeling."

We got that Pinnacle Award it says a lot about the program being successful on the field and classroom and having good sportsmanship. As one of the team's leaders do you take pride in winning an award like that?
"Definitely, I think that in both sports, soccer and lacrosse the programs are so focused on the person more than the success of the team and I think that is what brings success is having the coaches, the coaching staff for both who just care about the whole person."
