What is going through your mind when an attacker is coming at you with the ball?
"I have to decide whether to step or drop back and have Hailey (Lemon) cover for me. I decide that based on how fast they are dribbling or how far I am from the box."

How important is that communication for you to be successful?
"I think it is really important especially for me. I am kinda quiet on the field. I try to use my voice more."

How has the defense been so successful this season?
"Our communication has been the key to our defense this year and our back line is really strong especially at getting organized. We need to stay focused at practice."

What is it like having your sister Ada on campus?
"It is nice and my mom (Ann) works here too. It is great to have 3/4ths of my family here on campus."

How is the team's confidence after a good opening playoff win?
"I think our confidence is really good. We got beat at the beginning of the season because we were not really focusing. I think we need to stay on top of it and not underestimate anyone."

How far can you kick a ball?
"I have always been pretty strong at taking free kicks. The one at Holy Cup was 30-40 yards back. My parents want me to tryout to be a kicker in the NFL."

Do you see soccer being part of your collegiate experience?
"I have always seen it like that. At this point, I am not sure. I want to go to a school for the school first and the education. If I have the opportunity to play somewhere, I would love to."

What has been your favorite soccer moment?
"I thought last year was pretty cool when we won the CIF NorCal title. At Holy Cup this year, we had a lot of people show up and the energy was really good. It motivated us."
