TICKET INFORMATION (GoFan)

The St. Francis High athletics department is proud to launch an agreement with GoFan, the area’s leading ticketing solution for high school sports. This means there will no longer be cash-based transactions at the door, which in turn reduces or even eliminate wait times at the doors during Troubie home volleyball matches. GoFan will also allow you to purchase tickets for other friends and family, then transfer these tickets as needed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Which St. Francis events are ticketed?
A. All regular-season home volleyball and basketball games have admission. Most CIF postseason events in other sports will have admission, even those held off campus.

Q. What are the ticket prices for St. Francis home games?
A. Per Delta League rules as of effective September 2022, prices are as follows:

  • General Admission (adults, students without ID): $7
  • Senior Citizens (65 years+), Non-SFHS students with ID, middle school students with ID: $5
  • Children ages 8-11 with parent/guardian: $5
  • Children ages 0-7 with parent/guardian: free
  • Current SFHS students with ID or in uniform: free

There is an additional $1 service fee charged by GoFan. However, the fee is reduced if families purchase a season package.

Q. Are there still paper tickets? Cash payments at the door?
A. No, St. Francis will now switch exclusively to this cashless, paperless system. However, cash is still accepted at the snack bar at volleyball, basketball and softball events.

Q. If there are no paper tickets, how are they redeemed?
A. When you arrive at the event, either log into the GoFan website/app or click the "View Tickets" link in the confirmation email. This will show all tickets purchased for that date. You may select all or just some of the tickets to use at that event. IMPORTANT: do not actually redeem the ticket until you show it to an event staff member. Otherwise, they might think your ticket was redeemed previously by another visitor.

Q. How do I purchase tickets for friends and/or family?
A. Not only may you purchase tickets on behalf of others, but you can transfer those tickets to them for redemption. The recipient will then get a link that they can click with their ticket. Please note: anyone checking into an event needs a smartphone to do so. If you have friends and family who do not have smartphones, then you should meet them at the entrance to allow them in.

Q. Can I purchase the entire season right now?
A. All St. Francis home events will be published to the GoFan site well in advance of the given season, and any fan may buy all available tickets at that point. There is a season ticket package available for the 2023 volleyball season (minus Holy Court) right now. A similar package will be available for St. Francis basketball in 2023-24.

If any games are added to the schedule after the season starts, these tickets must be purchased separately. Furthermore, any postseason games – i.e. CIF playoffs – are ticketed separately.

Q. If I attend games of different levels on a given night, do I have to buy separate tickets?
A. No, your ticket for a given date is valid for all other games as part of the same doubleheader or tripleheader on that date. For example, fans who purchase a ticket to the Dec. 2 JV Red vs Nevada Union game are welcome to stay for the JV Gold and varsity games against Rodriguez on.

This is particularly useful if you have daughters on different squads. For instance, a parent with a daughter on each of the JV Gold and varsity teams needs only to purchase tickets for the varsity game.

Q. Can I purchase St. Francis away games on GoFan?
A. Yes, so long as the host school uses GoFan as its ticketing solution. Most schools in the Sacramento area also use it, while the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section uses it for the postseason. When another team hosts St. Francis, that event will show up on our GoFan page as an "Away Game." It will also appear on the host school's feed.

When St. Francis travels to a Sac-Joaquin Section playoff game, the ticket will show up on the CIF-SJS page, the St. Francis page and the opponent's page. Any of the three pages will direct you to the same event's ticketing.

If you do not see a St. Francis road event on GoFan, it simply means they use a different ticketing system, or only operate with cash at the door.

Q. Will students/parents get early priority for tickets?
A. For certain high-demand events – such as the Holy Court (volleyball) and Holy Hoops (basketball) – St. Francis athletics generally reserves allotments for students and parents. In such instances, GoFan links that are not yet available to the public will be distributed to students and/or parents via FinalForms. Each will have a window of opportunity in which to purchase these tickets (even if they are free). After those allotments are met, the GoFan event link will then go "live" on the website and app for the general public.

Q. Can non-athletics events be purchased on GoFan?
A. The St. Francis athletics department also uses GoFan as its RSVP/payment system for team banquets. Although such decisions have not been finalized, it is feasible for the school's excellent theater department to use GoFan for concerts and productions. In/when this happens, the SFHS community will be notified. But don't be surprised to see the school plays, Christmas concert, dance showcases and another performing arts events on GoFan in the near future!

Q. How does the GoFan QR code work?
A. Many venues – including the St. Francis gym – will have a QR code posted at the entrance. This is another way to easily access the GoFan page. Simply point your smartphone camera at the code, then tap the GoFan link that pops up on your screen. This will either take you to the GoFan website or, if you have it installed, to the app. Some QR codes direct you to the event page while others take you to the school page.
