ELK GROVE, Calif. – Senior Grace Barger scored two goals to pace St. Francis to a 4-0 win over Pleasant Grove at Sheldon High School as the team improved to 17-2-3 with their sixth straight win.
Barger scored in the 24th to take the lead off an assist my Mia Solorio-Smith. Senior Micayla Rattukalou to extend the lead to 2-0 as Solorio-Smith recorded her second assist.
The Troubadours added a second goal by Barger assisted by Jane Gregory and capped off the shutout with Mia Solorio-Smith scored off an assist by Hayley Kreiling.
Pleasant Grove was ranked is ranked No. 7 in the state and No. 33 in the nation by Maxpreps entering their home regular season finale on Wednesday against Franklin for the Senior Night game. SF will recognize their 11 seniors prior to the game.
