Hafenstein, Barger lead Troubies' All-SFL panel
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Seniors Caitlin Hafenstein and Elizabeth Barger each earned first-team distinction to lead a total of five St. Francis players on the inaugural All-Sierra Foothill League honor roll for flag football, the SFL office announced this week.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis seniors Elizabeth Barger and Caitlin Hafenstein each earned third-team selections on the Sacramento Bee’s inaugural All-Metro squad for flag football, the newspaper announced Wednesday.

STOCKTON, Calif. – Senior Elizabeth Barger posted two interceptions and three total pass breakups, senior receiver Caitlin Hafenstein scored two touchdowns and senior Emma Karamanoukian completed nine of her first 11 passes as St. Francis briefly held an 18-14 lead, but No. 5-seeded St. Mary scored a go-ahead touchdown five minutes into the second half en route to a 36-18 win over the 12th-seeded Troubadours in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II girls' flag football tournament Tuesday night.
SF draws Rams to launch inaugural SJS playoffs
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis was awarded the 12th seed and will face fifth-seeded St. Mary’s in the first round of the inaugural Sac-Joaquin Section Division II flag football playoffs, the governing body announced Friday. The game takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Sanguinetti Field in Stockton.
Troubies honor seniors with shutout of Davis
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Junior Reese Lieuwen intercepted two passes, senior Elizabeth Barger broke up four passes, while Tayli Paeu-Lindgren and Caitlin Hafenstein each opened series with long touchdown receptions, as St. Francis blanked Davis, 19-0, in Sierra Foothill League girls’ flag football action Wednesday.
