Micayla Ratukalou is in her third season on the varsity team and has scored a career-high three varsity goals this season. She enjoys photography in her free time. She considering CS-San Marcos, CS-Los Angeles and Hawaii Pacific. She does her service hours at St. Johns and she is a member of the Asian Pacific Islander club.
Can you believe you are in your senior season?
"The four years have gone so fast. Freshman year my big sister told me it would go so fast. I don't even remember freshman year."
The team is off to a great start. What is the feeling on the team?
"After the Rocklin tournament it was better and we connected as a team. We have a lot of younger players who have come up because we had a lot of seniors last year. It is going to be really good for us. We had a lot of players come up from JV gold who are very good."
You have had the chance to get two goals early this season. How does it feel to contribute offensively?
"It is really good. Since freshman year I have always played outside back. In club I have played forward so to be scoring goals as a forward senior year has been really good for me. To help the team and score for St. Francis has been really fun for me."
What is your favorite soccer moment?
"For high school is was definitely winning the Division II title last year. Last year was our best season and we had a lot of talented players and were so skilled. It was a memorable season."
What are your individual goals this season?
"Definitely one of my goals is scoring more goals as a forward. Last year we did not win our section and it was very hard for us. Our goal is to win sections and go to NorCals again."
What are your holiday plans?
"I am going to Seattle to see my Dad and my brothers. I have three nephews and one niece. It is going to be good. I am really excited to see them."

What is your Greatest Achievement: I am proud of going to St. Francis. I am thankful to be here.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be: Invisibility.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future: Past.
