MATHER, Calif. – Junior Keira Miles netted seven goals while seniors Karly Okamoto and Zia Smith added five and four, respectively, as St. Francis rolled past Davis, 17-7, in the varsity nightcap of a Sierra Foothill League varsity girls’ lacrosse doubleheader at Mather Sports Complex Tuesday night.

LOOMIS, Calif. – Senior Zia Smith netted seven goals while junior Keira Miles added another six in her hometown, but St. Francis could not sustain its hot start, ultimately falling by a 21-15 final to Del Oro in the varsity nightcap of a Sierra Foohill League girls’ lacrosse doubleheader at Fletcher-Christiansen Field at Golden Eagle Stadium Thursday night.

MATHER, Calif. – Sophomore Taylor Crotsley scored seven goals while freshmen Irene Erismann and Delaney McGahan each added two, leading St. Francis junior varsity to a 15-1 victory over Whitney in Sierra Foothill League girls’ lacrosse action at Mather Sports Complex. The Troubadour jayvees had the night to themselves, as the Wildcats forfeited the varsity nightcap to their hosts due to a shortage of players.

DAVIS, Calif. – Troubadour senior Zia Smith and junior Keira Miles each scored hat tricks while accounting for all seven of their team’s seven draw controls, but an eight-meter goal in the final two minutes lifted Davis past St. Francis, 7-6, in the varsity nightcap of a Sierra Foothill League girls’ lacrosse doubleheader at Ron & Mary Brown Stadium Monday night.
Troubies overcome slow start to rout Grizzlies
GRANITE BAY, Calif. – Senior Zia Smith led her team in total points and draw controls, helping St. Francis explode from a slow start offensively and dismantle Granite Bay by a 17-4 final in the varsity nightcap of Thursday’s Sierra Foothill League girls’ lacrosse doubleheader.
