Hodge tops St. Francis' spring all-league haul
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior lacrosse midfielder Brynley Hodge earned Delta League Player of the Year distinction to lead a sizable haul of All-Delta League awards for St. Francis at the conclusion of the spring 2024 athletics season.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Seniors Brynley Hodge and Jane Tattersall each finished with four total points but second-seeded St. Francis came up short by an 8-6 final to top-seeded Oak Ridge in a blustery Sac-Joaquin Section girls’ lacrosse championship game at Christian Brothers’ Bollinger Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Troubies beat Davis to advance to CIF-SJS title game
RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Junior Zia Smith and sophomore Keira Miles each scored hat tricks, with Miles controlling half of the game’s 20 draws, as St. Francis overcame an early deficit to claim an 11-5 win over Davis in a Sac-Joaquin Section semifinal at Mather Sports Complex Thursday night.
Troubies breeze past Falcons in "Holy Playoff" matchup
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore Keira Miles scored a double hat trick, while senior Jane Tattersall, senior Brynley Hodge and junior Olivia Hamm each added three goals as No. 2-seeded St. Francis rolled past No. 7-seed Christian Brothers, 18-1, in the first round of the inaugural Sac-Joaquin Section girls’ lacrosse championship tournament at Mather Sports Complex Tuesday.
Troubies host CB for inaugural section LAX playoffs
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis has earned the second seed and will host seventh-seeded Christian Brothers in the first round of the inaugural Sac-Joaquin Section girls’ lacrosse championship tournament, the section office announced Friday. The game will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Mather Sports Complex in Rancho Cordova.
