SAc-Joaquin Section D2 Bracket
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis soccer team is seeded first in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II bracket released Friday afternoon. SF will open at home (Cristo Rey High School) on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. against the winner of the Vacaville-Stagg game scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18.
St. Francis reached the Sac-Joaquin Section final last year before losing to Whitney. The Troubadours went on to win the CIF NorCal Division II title.
The rest of the Division II bracket includes No. 15 Woodland at No. 2 Ponderosa, No. 154 Cordova at No. 3 Vista del lago, No. 14 Oakmont at Granite Bay. No. 12 Bear Creek at No. 5 Pitman, No. 11 Lincoln-L at St. Mary's, No. 10 Del Oro at No. 7 Rio Americano and No. 9 Roseville at No. 8 Rodriguez.
The winner of the opening round match will take on the winner of No. 9 Roseville at No. 8 Rodriguez on Friday, Feb. 21. The semifinals will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25 and the finals on Saturday, Feb. 29 at a site to be announced.
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children.
