ROCKLIN, Calif. – The St. Francis varsity soccer team posted a 3-1 win over host Rocklin to advance to the Rocklin Invitational title championship match Saturday after posting a 2-0-1 record. The game will be played on Saturday night at Rocklin High School in the stadium at 6:30 p.m.
St. Francis (3-0-1) scored twice in the first half behind goals by junior Micayla Ratukalou in the eighth minute of the half off an assist by sophomore Kenna Delemos. Junior Sarah Yuke scored 19 minutes later before the half off an assist by senior Taylor Earle.
Junior Jackie Stanco scored her third goal of the tournament and fourth of the season to close out the scoring for the team. Senior Grace Barger assisted on the goal.
St. Francis opened the tournament on Thursday with 2-0 win over Bella Vista before a 0-0 draw against Vista del Lago on Friday morning.
