How is the season going for you?

"I feel like it is going really well. Especially since last year, I have been able to get a feel for what being on the varsity team is like and the competitiveness. It has helped me become a leader. Last year I was on the younger side as a sophomore. I now am able to communicate more with my teammates and be the leader that they need."

How have you improved this season?

"My confidence has got higher this year. Last year I was lacking in confidence. This year I am able to pick myself up and stay focused. I need to remember to use the skills I have in order to succeed."

What is the funnest part of having a stat filled game with an impact all over the court?

"It makes me feel really good that I able to get steals and do well in the little things and have an all-round game with steals, assists and points. It feels good. It was a game we needed to win. It determined how we do the rest of the season. It really helped me in seeing what our highest level is supposed to be like."

What did it mean to you to be selected for the North-South High School Tournament game showcasing the top Asian athletes in California?

"It feels really good. There are a lot of good players out there. Knowing I could be part of that event was cool and it is great to represent my culture."
