Basketball Defeats Ridgeview at Central Valley Showdown

CLOVIS, Calif. – Senior Mia Fleming-Mullins scored a team-high 22 points and seven boards as St. Francis posted a 64-43 win over Ridgeview. The win improved the Troubadours to 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in the tournament entering the final day.

St. Francis used a 22-point second quarter to build a 36-19 lead at the half. Fleming Mullins scored eight of her 22 in the period and Mackenzie Le had five of her eight points. She also had eight boards and six assists.

SF was out-scored I the third 16-14 but maintained their lead with the help of pair of triples by Nicole Rivera, who finished with 14 points, and one by Fleming-Mullins. Senior Jasmine Lee contributed 12 points with a three in each quarter to go with her eight boards and five steals.

Junior Sarah Cloninger added eight points and six rebounds.

The Troubies play twice on Saturday. The first game is against Kimball at Noon and then they close the tournament with a game against El Capitan at 8:30 p.m.
