What are you most looking forward to about the playoffs?
"I think it is such a big opportunity. The team has had a lot of success and it has been a lot of fun. It is going to be exciting to see that success tested one more time. Every game you are playing for the chance to keep playing. It will be a motivating factor for us. It is a different energy on the field when you have to win."

What have you enjoyed most about your senior season?
"It is really interesting that our team is younger. I have had fun getting to know a lot of younger players in my last season. It has been cool knowing you are the person they are looking up at as a role model or example. Having that position is a lot different this season."

What was the most challenging part of the West Point application process?
"The pushups were the hardest part. I had to do the physical test. It included a basketball throw, pushups, pullups, sit-ups, shuttle run and a mile run. They (pushups) were the hardest because I had to do them twice. I got to like 22."

What are you looking forward to about attending the USMA?
"I am really excited about being part of something that is so much bigger than you and the tradition amazes me. I am going to learn so much about myself and what it means to be a real teammate in the real world."

What did it mean to you to be a finalist for Valedictorian?
"It means a lot and it is cool to see your hard work wrapped up in something that big. I did not win but it was really exciting to write the speech and see what it would have been like. It was a big deal."

What has your CSL experience meant to you this year?
"It has been really cool to be in campus ministry. I had never given it any thought. Being behind the scenes and seeing how much work goes into everything they put on for the school, there is so much work. From fundraising to masses to collections and Spirit Days, it has been humbling to help and understand how much more there is to St. Francis. I love being a CSL and am really happy I took that class."

What are you looking forward to about the next few months?
"I think I am really excited to see where everyone ends up going and how it works out for everybody. I think our class has a lot of potential so wherever they go they are going to be super successful."
