PROGRAM: will be comprised of 3 teams = JV Red, JV Gold & Varsity
- JV Red will train & play a majority of their home games on campus
- JV Gold & Varsity will train & play their games at Cristo Rey High School
TIMING: our fit sessions will begin Monday, Sept. 24th
- try-outs will begin in Monday, Oct. 29th
- this is during Homecoming Week – Mon, Tues, Wed & Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs
- games begin in Tues, Nov. 27th (generally) – after Thanksgiving
- league begins Monday, Dec. 17th ends Wednesday, Feb. 6th
- play-offs begin Feb. 13th
TRY-OUTS: will begin Mon Oct 2nd with 7 sessions…
- too long to fake it… What will YOU DO…play to survive or play to succeed?!
- so we can prepare for the numbers & have good sessions ready…
- develop a list of who to expect // sheets ready for you to complete… organized by JV & Varsity
- write legibly (this has been an issue), I'm asking for your club info (my intent is to communicate with your club coaches & let them know we are mindful of their
- I understand a majority want to play for the highest level team (I like the way you think). We will direct you to the team & venue.

- How will we know – by you evaluating you in the pre-season fitness sessions
- If you cannot make any or many of our fit sessions…OK, we'll place you with our best guess
REALITY is, it will again be competitive & difficult to make the squad
- Varsity = 20 returners (if all were to return)…I am aware that some seniors may try-out for the first time or we may choose to pull up some of our rising stars
RETREATS we SUPPORT your participation. HOWEVER, there are LOT of dates – pick a retreat OUTSIDE of the season. If you are selected to LEAD a RETREAT, you are free to attend whatever
FITNESS: Will be the week of Sep 24 , 26 & 27…on campus unless the weather makes us move to Granite RP
- 20 yrd Shuttle… will be ranked… 60-65 sec is goal for EACH rep
- will be a criteria…will be taken into consideration = COULD determine if you MAKE THE TEAM
- Fit Packet… will be posted for you to download, I suggest you print your own copy

- It's positive… inclusive… recovery, technical development… take advantage!!
FITNESS SESSIONS: 3/week = Mon, Wed & Thurs from 3:30-4:45 p.m.
- will begin on Monday, Sept. 24 – Thursday Oct. 18th
- Monday 10/15 will be off (no school that day)
- All session will be held on the soccer field, on campus unless otherwise noted
- PAPER WORK/PHYSICAL IS DUE to KELLY KETCHAM on THURSDAY, SEPT 20th….TWO WEEKS+
- No form, NO FITNESS, NO EXCEPTIONS – get this done
