ELK GROVE, Calif. – Only two matches reached completion before rainfall halted St. Francis' Delta League tennis dual at Pleasant Grove on Tuesday. The meeting will be resumed at a date to be determined.

The Troubadours picked up a win at No. 1 doubles, with senior Caroline Niethammer and Ava Ensberg scoring a victory; and took a loss at No. 3 singles, with junior Tatum Walbeck taking the setback before the stoppage. No scores nor opponents from those matches are available.

However, St. Francis did get in its presentation of the team's "Queen of the Court" sweatshirt, a prize bestowed upon a different player each week. This week's honor went to Niethammer, the senior team captain.

The make-up date is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, one day before the regular-season finale at Davis and the week before the Delta League singles and doubles championship tournaments.
