ROSEVILLE, Calif. – The St. Francis tennis team will play No. 3 seed Tamalpais at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Broadstone Sports Club in Folsom in the opening round of the CIF Northern California Regional Tennis Championships. The winner will take on the No. 7 Lowell/No. 2 St. Francis (MV) winner at 1:00 p.m.

St. Francis is playing in the CIF/USTA NorCals for the fourth consecutive season. St. Francis finished runner-up to Granite Bay in the Sac-Joaquin Section tournament last week.

The Troubadours (20-2) are seeded sixth overall in the eight team bracket that includes No. 1 Menlo, No. 4 Granite Bay, No. 5 Miramonte and No. 8 Uprep.
