Get to Know: Water Polo's #9 Hayley Hoang
You have been out of the pool lately. How are you doing?
"It has been kind of a set back. I am hoping to get better in the next week or so."
 
How does it feel to be a senior with all the excitement of your final year?
"It has been sentimental and sad that it is my last season playing water polo. It is happy feelings."
 
What has been your favorite memory?
"My favorite memory is the team and team bonding and the sisterhood we have. We are all like sisters. We fight and care for each other."
 
What has it been like sharing your experience with your senior teammates?
"Throughout we have seen each other grow. It has been us getting to know each other better."
 
What is a fun fact about Hayley?
"I write with my left hand but I use my right for everything else. My dad is left handed."
 
What has it been like having your dad part of the program this season?
"It is cool. I thought it was going to be weird at first but it is not. He provides a good dry land for us and works us really hard in our conditioning."
 
What are your thoughts on college?
"Right now my number one school is Sonoma State and I am looking into nursing. Out of state I am looking at TCU and Boise State."
 
What has Coach Moody meant to your water polo career?
"She is a great mentor. I look up to a lot. She has a lot respect for us and we have that for her. She is like our second mom. We spend a lot of time with her."
 
What was your internship experience like this summer?
"It was really eye-opening and sparked my interest in the medical field. I really got to see the role of the nurse and connect with it."
 
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, where would you live: Full House.
What is your greatest achievement: My internship.
If you could have one superpower: Read Minds. 
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future: Future.
What is the concert you want to see: Rex Orange County.
What teacher has inspired you the most: Coach Heather.
What is your favorite holiday: Christmas.
If you could change places with one person: Ellen.
