Water Polo Defeats McClatchy 19-4

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Libby Slater and Kendall Houck each scored five goals as the St. Francis water polo team posted a 19-4 victory over McClatchy Friday night at Jesuit High School.

The Troubadours (10-8) led 5-2 after the first quarter and scored four goals in the second and third periods to extend the lead to 13-3.

Senior Malia Arnott joined Sarah Mudd and Alyssa Jacobsen in adding two goals each with Abbey Berg and Emma Johnson also scoring.

St. Francis hosts Granite Bay for senior night on Thursday at 8 p.m.
