Get to Know: Water Polo's #6 Libby SlaterNovember 21, 2019Libby Slater is in her third season on the Varsity team. She was named to the NISCA All-American fifth-team last year as a sophomore after scoring 48 goals and being named the program's Player of the Year. She has eclipsed 107 goals in her career entering tonight's game. She is currently an intern in Sports Media, enjoys singing and dancing in competitions for the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church and swims on the school's team in the spring. She also was part of LLS last year on Alyssa Jacobsen's team.

Water Polo Falls in Section Final, Earns CIF NorCal BerthNovember 16, 2019The No. 2 seeded St. Francis water polo team lost to No. 1 Davis 14-5 on Saturday night at the Roseville Aquatic Center. The Troubadours earned a berth in the CIF Northern California Regionals with the finals appearance and drew a No. 5 seed in the Division II bracket against Clovis West in the bracket announced by the CIF.

Houck will leave the St. Francis program as the program leader in several offensive categories after her four-year varsity career.

She has played the game since she was seven-years old and is being recruited to play in college by several schools including San Diego State, Pacific and Fresno State.

Water Polo Garners No. 2 Seed in Section BracketOctober 31, 2019The St. Francis water polo team received a No. 2 seed in the Sac-Joaquin Section bracket announced Thursday. The Troubadours will host a second-round game at Jesuit High School on Thursday, Nov. 7 against the winner of No. 7 Oak Ridge and No. 12 McClatchy. The game will be at 7 p.m.

She participated in Chamber Choir and has joined the Young Republicans club this year. She has also volunteered for Camp Rec the last two and half years. Fun Fact: Sarah has over 50 cousins.

Five Water Polo Players Earn USA Water Polo Academic All-America StatusSeptember 11, 2019Seniors Alyssa Jacobsen (Sacramento) and Caroline Wilkins (Carmichael) were among five St. Francis water polo players named to the USA Water Polo Academic All-America team announced this week. Both were named to the team for the third consecutive season and received Outstanding Academic All-American status for receiving a 4.00 GPA or higher while competing in a National USA Water Polo event.
