Bella Vierra is in her second season on the team. She is being recruited to play at Wagner University. She started playing the sport as a freshman at SF. She is Co-President of the Young Republicans club and plans to study International Affairs.
How has your senior season been going?
"It has gone pretty good. It has been an adjustment for everybody but it has been a really good season. There has been growth maturity wise and I think this is the best team I have been on skill-wise during my four years. It is cool to work with talented girls."
What are you looking forward to about the rest of the season?
"I am really excited to play Davis. With the team, our coach has been telling us this is the team do it. I am excited to play with this exciting group of girls. We have so much potential and I think if we execute what we have been practicing it will be a great game (vs. Davis) and playoff season."
What makes you a valuable member of the team?
"I bring a left-handed shot and I am positive influence on the team. I like to remind the girls why they are on the team and why they are valuable. I also like to make people laugh and be the team clown. It gets me in trouble."
What excites you about the opportunity to play at Wagner?
"I completely saw myself on the team and I felt a part it from the moment I got there based on the treatment I received. The school is so outside my comfort one. It is a really small school in Staten Island, N.Y. It gives me the best feeling knowing these are the girls I will be playing with and I am not giving up polo yet. I still have four more years. I am blessed for the opportunity."
What has been your influence to play in college?
"Coach Whalen is my biggest influence to play in college. I started with her and ended with her. She is my biggest role model in the sport. She has been a huge impact on me deciding to play."
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, where would you live: Gilmore Girls.
What is your greatest achievement: Committing to play in college.
If you could have one superpower: Teleportation.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future: Past.
What is the concert you want to see: Lauren Daigle.
What teacher has inspired you the most: Ms. Harrity, Ms. Valoria, Senora Diver.
What is your favorite holiday: Halloween.
If you could change places with one person: Chloe Kardashian.
