Allie Belafsky is in her second season on the varsity water polo team. She also plays lacrosse, scoring seven goals over her two varsity seasons.
How is senior year water polo going?
"It is good. It is really fun. We have a really good team with a lot of potential. It is really fun being a senior and one of the leaders on the team."
What do you see as your role on the team?
"I would definitely consider myself a motivator. Supporting my teammates helping them through the hard swim sets, the hard workouts, and being there for everybody."
What is your favorite thing about being on the water polo team and playing that sport?
"I love how hard we work and that we are all in it together"
What has it been like playing two sports and being so busy?
"It is a lot. But well worth it just to have the opportunity to be on the team with these amazing teammates. It requires a lot of time management, I have become pretty good at prioritizing things."
What is your goal for college? Where are you thinking of applying?
"I am applying to a bunch of schools. Right now I am leaning towards out of state. I want to be a professional pilot so I am looking at the top aviation programs."
What makes you interested in that profession?
"I love the travel opportunities and all the exploration and responsibility that comes with it."
What is a fun fact about you that we don't know?
"I just got a puppy on Saturday! It is a golden retriever."
