St. Francis-River City water polo canceled

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Monday's varsity-only water polo meeting between St. Francis and River City was canceled due to a lack of officials, resulting in the two teams playing in a practice game. 

The two teams opted to play a practice game, officiated by the respective head coaches. Ashlyn Brock scored two goals with three assists while Miranda Ferguson netted a hat trick to leazd the Troubadours offensively, while Sophia Santsche-Chavez posted 15 saves against two goals allowed.

SF varsity joins its younger JV sisters in a road doubleheader at Rio Americano on Tuesday. The jayvees open at 4 p.m. with the varsity teams playing immediately after.
