SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore Madelene Lee shot a season-best tying one-over par 37 to help the St. Francis golf team to a 186-235 win over Sheldon on Wednesday.
Lee was one of four Troubadours to break 40 for the round, helping the team shoot a season-best 186. Seniors Patricia Sweeney and Olivia Alcoran tied for medalist honors with one-over par rounds of 35. Lee's 37 was the third-best score on the team, tying her season best posted against Roseville.
Junior Nashla Aguero carded a round of three-over 38 to place fourth, aided by a stretch of three consecutive birdies for a team season best. Sophomore Haanya Niazi shot a 41 and Ceci Fletcher posted a 42.
St. Francis returns to action on Thursday against Pleasant Grove.
