Golf Wins Second Delta League Center Match

RANCHO MURIETA, Calif. – The St. Francis golf team won the second Delta League Center match by 29 strokes over Pleasant Grove with a team score of 428. Senior Olivia Alcoran finished tied for second overall to lead the Troubadours.

St. Francis remained undefeated on the season, taking its second center match. Pleasant Grove shot a 457 with Davis in third at 502 and Cosumnes Oaks fourth with a score of 548. Elk Grove, Sheldon and Franklin were unable to post five individual scores.

Alcoran shot 39-39 to card her six-over par 78 to lead the team, tying with Alyssa Lee of Davis. Sadia Sadig was the overall medalist with a five-over par 77.

Senior Patricia Sweeney was fourth overall with an 81. Junior Nashla Aguero was sixth overall in the field with an 85 and Ceci Fletcher shot an 88 to finish ninth overall. Amanda Siy shot a 96 and Madelene Lee posted a 106.

St. Francis has won the last seven Delta League Center matches dating to the first center in 2016.

The Troubadours return to the course with a match against Sheldon at 3 p.m. at Haggin Oaks Arden Arcade course.
