SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Eight cross country student-athletes formed two relay teams to run in the California International Marathon on Sunday, finishing 1-2 in the female high school division.
The team of Haley Silva, Emily Castles, Tatiana Cornejo and Claire Silva was first in their division with a time of 2:55.10 to finish 11th overall, while Allison Williams, McKenna McKrell, Jill Heskett and Erin Ayotte, were second in their division and 77th overall in 3:28.08.
