SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis senior outside hitter Alexa Edwards was named to the Delta League Most Valuable Player and named to the All-League for the fourth consecutive season.

Edwards joined three teammates on the 2019 Delta All-League squad including junior middle blocker Chloe Henning, setter Ellie Eichhorn and right side Ashley Magley. It was the third consecutive MVP honor for Edwards.

Edwards led the league in kills and kills per set, while ranking second in digs. Henning led the league in hitting percentage and was sixth in kills. Eichhorn was third in assists and assists per set. Magley ranksed sixth in the league in kills.

Head Coach Alynn Wright also was the named the Coach of the Year, the 19th Coach of the Year selection in her career and second consecutive.
