JV Red’s Jadyn Weaver Named Most Valuable Player

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Freshman Jadyn Weaver was named the team's Most Valuable Player at the program's banquet.

Weaver averaged a team-best 11.2 points per game. She scored in double figures in 17 games on the season led by a career-best 27 against Davis in the season finale.

Freshman Emily Kroettiner (6.3 ppg.) was named the Offensive Player of the Year, while freshman Mia Hamerton was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year. Freshman Lauren Riley was selected as the Coaches Award winner.

The team went 18-10 on the season.
