Yadao dominates field in diving matchup with Davis

RIO LINDA, Calif. – Sophomore Sinclair Yadao compiled a score of 261.95 on the 1-meter board to capture first place by more than 50 points, leading St. Francis in the diving portion of the Delta League swimming and diving dual meet against area rival Davis Wednesday afternoon.

The visiting Blue Devils swept second through fifth place, then freshman Paige Vicente (175.40) and junior Jaiden Jackson (171.40) took sixth and seventh, respectively, for the Troubadours.

The diving competition added nine points to Davis' total and seven to St. Francis in Tuesday's swim dual meet scoring totals, setting the final team totals at 118 for the Blue Devils, 67 for the Troubies.

Both SFHS swimming and diving return to action on Wednesday, Mar. 23 for a Delta League dual with Elk Grove. As usual, the divers will compete at Capital Divers in Rio Linda, while the swimmers will race at Jesuit High School.
