RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Junior attacker Karly Okamoto posted eight assists while senior Brynley Hodge netted a team-leading five goals, leading St. Francis to a dominating 19-2 win over Bella Vista in a Delta League girls' varsity lacrosse game at Mather Sports Complex Wednesday.

The Troubadours win their sixth straight game to improve to 8-2 overall, and remain the only beaten team in the league with a 4-0 mark.

Junior Zia Smith and senior Jane Tattersall also posted hat tricks, with Smith matching sophomore Keira Miles for the SF lead of five draw controls. Miles also had two goals and an assist among the scoring onslaught. Junior Olivia Hamm added two goals, two assists and a team-best three caused turnovers. Okamoto, Cami Zucker, Elizabeth Barger and Jade Abalateo also scored for the Troubies.

Okamoto, who owns the school's top two single-season assists performances of 48 (2022) and 52 (2023), raised her season total to 24. Tattersall and Hodge now each have 27 goals through 10 games, with Miles close behind with 23. Tattersall and Hodge, who committed to Winthrop and Xavier, respectively, also share the SF program record with 70 goals in a season.

Additionally, Okamoto's eight assists ties her career high, set at Bella Vista on March 17, 2023.

The Troubies led 7-1 after the first quarter and 12-1 at halftime. Zucker scored her first goal of the season in the final seconds of the third to extend the SF lead to 17-2, then the team largely shut down its offense in the final frame.

St. Francis junior varsity lost to its Bronco counterparts by a 9-3 score in Wednesday's opener. Freshman Lizzie David scored two goals and sophomore Nevaeh Gavino converted an eight-meter opportunity to account for the Troubie scoring. Freshman goalie Claire Gabri faced 31 shots, saving 11 of them. The SF jayvees played with exactly 12 players, meaning no reserves were available.

The Troubies head to defending-champion Davis on Friday. First draw is 5:30 p.m. for JV, 7 p.m. for varsity at Ron & Mary Brown Stadium.
