EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. – Junior Arden Han-Wei shot a 1-over-par 37 to lead St. Francis to a team total of 214 strokes against host Oak Ridge in a Sierra Foothill League girls' golf dual match at Serrano Country Club Tuesday. The Trojans won the match with 199 strokes.
Freshman Chloe Jun followed Han-Wei with a 3-over 40, while Nydia Garcia and Momina Niazi each carded 43s. Senior Neta Tovar tallied a 51 while junior Gianna Seghesio finished with 55 strokes. However Oak Ridge had two players at par or better – Emily Quan with a 34, Iliana Rubio at 36 – to easily claim the team competition.
Oak Ridge leads the SFL based on its winning 358 score at the 18-hole center tournament back on October 1.
St. Francis golf hosts its final dual match of the year on Thursday, facing Davis at Haggin Oaks. The match will also serve as a Senior Day event to honor Tovar, the lone 2025 graduate on the team. The players tee off at 3:30, with the Senior Day presentations following the competition.
