SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore Tayli Paeu-Lindgren took part in a three-way tie for Offensive MVP in girls' flag football, leading a host of St. Francis athletes in the fall All-Sierra Foothill League honor roll, as announced by the conference office this week.
The 6-foot receiver posted 95 catches, 1,275 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns in her second season as a Troubadour, a body of work that also snared her All-Sac-Joaquin Section distinction from MaxPreps in November.
In all, St. Francis had 10 first-team honorees. Freshman Lola Fox and Monet Zauner joined Paeu-Lindgren among flag football recipients, sophomores Sophia Palmeri and Gilly Glikman claimed such distinction in volleyball, sophomore Maria McDougall and freshman Alexandra Wallace in tennis, junior Arden Han-Wei in golf, plus seniors Sophia Santsche-Chavez and Miranda Ferguson in water polo.
This was the first season of SFL membership for St. Francis, although flag football competed in the league during the sport's section-wide inaugural season of 2023-24.
