DAVIS, Calif. – Senior Ceci Fletcher shot a one-over par 37 to post a career-best prep round and earn medalist honors as St. Francis defeated Davis 204-258 on Monday at Wildhorse Golf Course.

Fletcher edged Davis senior Alyssa Yee by two strokes to earn her first medalist honor since her freshman season. She carded eight pars and one bogey on her round.

Teammate Nashla Aguero posted a four-over par 40 to place third in the two-team event. Junior Madeline Lee was fourth overall and third on the team with a 41, while senior Haanya Niazi and Amanda Siy recorded rounds of 43. Junior Oliva Reed was seventh overall with a 46 in her first round of the season.

St. Francis improved to 2-0 in Delta League dual play, winning their 33rd consecutive dual match. The Troubadours return to the course next Monday against Pleasant Grove at Haggin Oaks Golf Course.
