Track and Field Senior Celebrations

SENIOR CELEBRATIONS: Track and Field's Alyssa Appel: Alyssa was a four-year member of the track and field and cross country teams. She participated in the throws this season and ran distance events during her freshman and sophomore seasons.

"Alyssa is a very dedicated and resilient young woman who showed a persistent and strong will to improve and compete every day she came to practice and meets.  Her positive attitude, strong work ethic and dedication to the tasks at practice propelled her to improve her throws daly, weekly and monthly.  Her dedication to the Saint Francis's track and field team's throws crew is an example of how one should support and encourage teammates to be a successful leader in high school and in life.  She had fun and she encouraged others to have fun as well. It has been a pleasure to coach her.  I wish her the best in her future endeavors." – Coach Chris Huitt
