RIO LINDA, Calif. – Junior Maddy Miles posted a personal-best score of 213 for her six-dive performance against Davis on March 28. The Troubadours posted four of the top five scores in the meet.
"It felt really good," said Miles. "I was really proud of my team and myself. We had a really day. We went in with a good attitude and it really showed."
Sophomore Sydney Smith had her personal-best with score of 192 to place second, while sophomore Hannah Carsey was right behind with a 187.
"That was a personal best for many of the girls including Madison and Sydney," said Head Coach Dede Crayne. "The girls are doing an excellent job, especially in this weather, and are preparing for our upcoming 11 dive meets. What tough girls they are."
The team will compete against Elk Grove on April 3 before hosting their Jesuit/St. Francis Invitational on April 6.
"The season is going really well," said Miles. "We are excited for the Jesuit/St. Francis Invitational. It is our first 11-dive meet. It will be a fun team experience."
