SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore receiver Tayli Paeu-Lindgren represented St. Francis on the inaugural MaxPreps All-Sac-Joaquin Section flag football teams, as announced by that website Thursday.  

Also a basketball and track & field standout for the Troubadours, Paeu-Lindgren led her team with 95 receptions, 1,275 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns this fall. The 6-foot tall receiver also filled in on the defensive side of the ball on occasion, posting three pass breakups plus a 35-yard interception return.

St. Francis went 6-14 overall with a 5-9 mark in the tough Sierra Foothill League under the tutelage of first-year head coach Quincy Cooper. This is the second year that the SJS has sponsored the sport, but the first in which MaxPreps compiled an all-section list. (The Sacramento Bee announced an All-Metro squad last year in collaboration with Premier Preps' Nick Pecoraro in 2023.)
