EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. – St. Francis varsity lost to Oak Ridge, 20-8, in the varsity nightcap of a Sierra Foothill League girls' flag football doubleheader Thursday night. This game followed a 26-7 Troubadour loss to the Trojans in the junior varsity opener.

SF's jayvees held a 7-0 lead at the halftime break, with Isabela Brenes hauling in a Jocelyn Villaflor touchdown and Mariko Palmieri tacking on the one-point conversion. However, the Troubies failed to stop OR throughout the second half while committing two turnovers en route to 26 unanswered points against.
Both St. Francis teams return to action at Granite Bay on Tuesday. The JV game begins at 6:30 with the varsity scheduled for an hour later.
