SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Mary School won the St. Francis PAL Volleyball Tournament on Saturday with a 2-0 win over St. John Notre Dame. The Mustangs advanced to the championship with a win over Sacred Heart in the semifinals (2-0). St. Michael's won the consolation championship title with a 2-0 win over St. Roberts.
The 2018 St. Francis PAL Tournament included teams from St. Ignatius, St. Charles, Sacred Heart, Holy Spirit, St. John Notre Dame, St. Mary, St. Roberts, Holy Trinity, Woodland Christian, St. Mels, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. Michaels.
The St. Francis PAL Volleyball All-Tournament team included Ashley Brown (Holy Spirit), Sophia Garza (St. John Notre Dame), Gabby Magao (Sacred Heart), Natalie Baker (St. Charles), Claire Carollo (St. Ignatius) and Av Aipoallani (St. Mary).
