CARMICHAEL, Calif. – The St. Francis junior varsity water polo team divided into two teams to host the Frosh/Soph Closer to finish the season, posting a 2-2 record and playing a match between the two teams.

The JV Gold team opened with a 10-8 victory over Rio Americano behind seven goals by Rory Peters. The JV Red followed with an 8-4 win over McClatchy as Ava Stimson scored five times.

Gold prevailed over Red in the head-to-head 10-6 as Peters and Emma Houle each scored three times.

JV Red lost a close overtime contest with Rio Americano 11-10 in overtime before Golf lost to Davis.

The team will celebrate their season at the Water Polo Banquet in December.
