SENIOR CELEBRATIONS: Lacrosse's Judy Cates: Judy has been a four-year varsity letter winner. She ranked third on the team in goals as a junior with 33 and earned Sacramento Valley Lacrosse Conference first-team honors.

"Judy is a force to be reckoned with. She serves a huge utility player for us, playing defense, offense, and midfield, depending on where she was needed. She often marked up against the opponent's top threat or served as an integral part of our offense.  She has a very natural understanding and flow of the game, which makes her a great teammate to play with.  She became a main distributor of the ball on offense-Sometimes I even had to reminder to score.  I really saw a change in her confidence and overall demeanor, which allowed her to play with a new kind of energy and freedom. During her senior season, she really embraced a leadership role.  Her teammates looked to her for guidance and support, and she was able to provide a calming and consistent presence, both on and off the field. Once Judy decides that she wants something, it is very difficult to take her off that track." – Head Coach Julia Southard
