How is your first full season on the varsity going and what has been the highlight?
"My highlight was starting for Holy Hoops. I worked really hard and have been trying to improve my game. It was one of my goals for the season. I am not happy how it happened with Megan hurting her ankle. As a team, we keep persevering on the season. If we continue to push as a team, we can make it to playoffs."

How have you got better over the course of the season?
"I have been pushing myself at practice and asking myself each day if I got better. I have also been doing outside training to help my game."

What is your favorite aspect of attending St. Francis?
"My favorite thing is the community. I love seeing everyone every day. I look forward to coming to school and seeing every one."

You have the benefit of having a parent who works on campus. What are the advantages?
"I still get questions about whether my mom works here after three years. When I run out of money on the café account, I can call her to buy me lunch."

What is fun fact about Jasmine?
"I did pageants when I was younger. My mom won Miss California in 2003. She put me into the programs and I did pageants from ages 5-9. I did dancing, singing, sportswear, swimwear. I still have the dress from the evening wear competition."

What has the senior group meant to you?
"The seniors on the team are some of my closest friends. I love seeing them every day. The bond that have grown as a team and as friends is so strong. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am going to miss them so much."

What are your individual goals down the stretch?
"I want to put up some points. I need to step up and put the ball in the basket to continue to help the team."

What does it mean to you to be a class leader?
"It means a lot to be a leader for my class and being someone people can talk to or come to if they need a hug. It can be stressful with Homecoming or special events like Pax et Bonum week."
