Basketball Defeats Lodi to Take Third Place at Lady Vike Classic

STOCKTON, Calif. – Mia Fleming-Mullins and Nika Bagatelos each had 14 points as St. Francis won the third-place game over Lodi 63-38 at the Lady Vike Classic Saturday afternoon.

St. Francis (2-1) rebounded from its first loss of the season, jumping out early on the Flames. Bagatelos had two three-pointers and eight points overall in the first quarter, while senior Lauren Pank added five as the Troubadours took a 17-8 lead.

Fleming-Mullins scored six of her eight first-half points in the second quarter as the Troubies held on to a 28-16 lead at the half. In the third, senior Megan Austin got into the scorebook with a pair of baskets and Jorie Keitges hit a three-pointer.

Austin finished with eight points, adding two more baskets in the fourth period, and a team-best three steals.

Senior Gabi Lopez led the team with seven rebounds, while Pank had five assists. Pank, Jorie Keitges and Mackenzie Le each added five points in the win.

St. Francis takes on host Roseville in the Roseville Elite Showcase on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 3:30 p.m.
