Basketball Posts Comeback over Inderkum, Reaches Consolation Final in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Junior Mia Fleming-Mullins had 23 points and 11 rebounds as St. Francis posted a 57-48 comeback victory over Inderkum to reach the consolation final of the Roseville Elite Classic Saturday night.

St. Francis (3-2) got a strong performance from senior guard Lauren Pank, who scored eight points to go with seven assists, six rebounds and four steals. Senior teammate Nika Bagatelos added 12 points on four three-pointers, while senior Megan Austin contributed five rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block.

The Troubadours led early 8-5 in a slow start to the game in the first quarter but Inderkum scored 25 in the second to take the halftime lead 30-22.

Bagatelos and Jorie Keitges hit three triples in the third. Fleming-Mullins, who scored 10 points in the first half, added 12 in the second with eight in the third as SF tied the game at 39 after three quarters.

The Troubies pulled away in the fourth as four players hit three-pointers including junior Jasmine Lee, junior Nicole Rivera, Pank and Keitges.

St. Francis will play host Roseville on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
