SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Freshman Mia Hill, sophomore Megan Gawlick and senior Victoria Cao each won two individual events to lead St. Francis to a 146-22 win over Cosumnes Oaks in a Delta League girls' swimming dual meet at Jesuit High School Wednesday night.

Hill, who hails from the same Elk Grove area as CO, captured the 200-yard individual medley with a time of two minutes, 21.98 seconds, then captured the 100 breaststroke at 1:12.90. Cao won both the 50 freestyle (26.06) and 100 backstroke (1:04.94), while Gawlick prevailed in the 200 free (2:07.45) and 500 free (5:33.18). Hill and Cao were also part of the winning 400 free relay.

The Troubadours won every varsity and junior varsity race, plus the diving competition held offsite in Rio Linda. In fact, they claimed the top two finishes in every individual event and the maximum 16 dual points in both sprint freestyles. 

Alexis DeAngelis (200 IM, 100 free) and Remi Vrilakas (50 free, 100 breast) each were double-winners among the JV events, with DeAngelis adding victories in both freestyle relays.

Wednesday's dual, part of a Jesuit dual with CO, was the first of five straight home meets for St. Francis. In fact, all six Delta League duals will take place at Jesuit High, with an April 6 road trip to Carondelet standing as the lone regular-season meet not held at the Marauders' pool. The Troubies return to action against Franklin next Wednesday.
