Christopher Huitt will be starting his third season is an assistant with the St. Francis track and field program as a throws coach. He originally joined the staff in 2018.

As the St. Mary School Mustangs head track and field coach, Mr. Huitt coached the Mustangs team to three championships in the Sacramento Parochial Athletic League, including two overall boys and girls varsity titles and one with the boys and girls junior varsity team. Mr. Huitt tutored four students finishing in the top five places in the throws.

He has also volunteered as the Jesuit High School shot put and discus coach, placing five student-athletes place in the top 10 in the Delta League Championships in 2016.

Mr. Huitt is married to Mrs. Melita (Clifford, ’85) Huitt and they have two boys, Andrew (Jesuit ’15) and Eric (Jesuit ’20) who are accomplished runners for the Marauders.
