Title: Head JV Diving Coach

Angelina begins her first season as an assistant coach with the St. Francis Diving program.

She has been around the sport of diving for nearly 10 years, after transitioning from the sport of gymnastics.  She was a competitive gymnast in the Sacramento area for about eight years before falling in love with diving at age 14. She dove under Dede Crayne as a Junior Olympic diver for four years before earning a spot on the UC Davis swim and dive team. 

She became a team captain her junior and senior years at Davis, where she learned a great deal about team management and leadership. She was also selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team three times and earned all-conference honors twice.

Her coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach with Capital Divers, helping teach younger kids how to dive. She is excited to use her knowledge of diving to help the SFHS dive team under her former club coach.

She attended El Camino High School, graduating in 2014. She was a four-year letter winner and three-time team MVP. Crayne scored a 435.60 at the Cal League Championships as a senior and posted at the Section trials and finished with a 385.00 in the finals. She was an All-Capital Athletic League selection in 2013, winning the conference title on the 1-meter (405.00), while finishing ninth on the 1m (308.35), eighth on the 3m (341.25), and fourth on the platform (306.25) at the 2014 Far Western Diving Championships. She qualified for the 2014 USA Diving Summer Junior Zone E Championships, finishing 29th on the platform (301.05) and 38th on the 3-meter (314.00).

She earned B.A. in Human Development from U.C. Davis and is currently a student for a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of the Pacific.
