Matthew Lemes joined the St. Francis Soccer staff as the assistant coach for the Junior Varsity Red team for the 2018-19 season.

Lemes brings five years of coaching experience to the staff. He recently served as the assistant varsity boys coach, assistant freshman coach and developmental coach at El Camino High School for the 2017-18 season.

He has also coached baseball with the Orangevale Pony League from 2014-18 and basketball with the Sunrise Parks and Recreation department (2015-Pres.). He is also currently the U12 boys and U14 girls CVU Comp Soccer coach.

He has NFHS Accreditation in the Fundamentals of Coaching, Soccer Coaching, Concussion in Sport and USSF E License.

Lemes is a graduate of Jesuit High School.
