Chima leads charge as SF golfers enjoy record win
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Freshman Riya Chima carded a 1-under-par 35 while sophomore Chloe Jun and junior Momina Niazi each finished at even-par 36, as St. Francis posted its best score in recorded history with a 185-210 win over Del Oro in Sierra Foothill League girls’ golf dual action at Haggin Oaks’ Arcade Creek course Tuesday.
Troubies tame Grizzlies for season's first SFL win
GRANITE BAY, Calif. – Junior opposite Gilly Glikman hammered out a team-leading eight kills and a .467 hitting average while junior outside hitter Hailey Sutton added five kills and six aces to lead St. Francis to a 25-12, 25-11, 25-22 sweep of Granite Bay to close out a Sierra Foothill League girls’ volleyball tripleheader Monday night.
SF dominates multiple field at Duyst Invitational
CERES, Calif. – Freshman Alyssa Gutierrez won the Invitational 5-kilometer race with a time of 17 minutes, 8.9 seconds; Emilia Ryan led four Troubadours among the top five in the frosh-soph 2K, while Mia Hollar led a second varsity squad to victory in the Small Schools race, as St. Francis dominated the field at the Kim Duyst Twilight Invitational at River Oak Golf Course Saturday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Every point, set or match in volleyball begins with one event: service. Appropriately enough, when St. Francis seniors Sydney Chow, Mana Jafari, Nika Jafari and Copeland Williams launched a non-profit operation called Volley For A Cause, they did so out of a desire to serve.
