Krotine selected for Optimist All-Stars
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior outfielder Claire Krotine was selected as the lone St. Francis representative to the area Optimist All-Star softball game, hosted by the Sacramento Breakfast Optimist club at Folsom Lake College on Thursday, June 12. Game times are 4 p.m. for small schools, 7 p.m. for large schools. Krotine, who will play collegiate ball at Santa Clara next year, is a member of the South team in the large-school game.
Gandhoke finishes 15th, wraps SF track season at state meet

Gandhoke wins high jump title on Day 1 of SJS Masters
FOLSOM, Calif. – Sophomore Jasleen Gandhoke captured the individual girls’ high jump championship with a leap of 5-foot-6, tying her personal record and earning a state championship berth, highlighting a group of St. Francis athletes on Day 1 of the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters track & field championship meet at Folsom High’s Prairie City Stadium Friday night.
Kapinya breaks school record at CIF state championships
FRESNO, Calif. – Sophomore Lilla Kapinya swam the 50-yard freestyle in 23.40 seconds, breaking Ava Chavez’ two-year-old school record and finishing 11th overall while senior Erica Jaffe won the 100 backstroke consolation final, leading St. Francis at the CIF State Swimming & Diving championships, held at the Clovis Olympic Aquatics Center Saturday.
