Swimmers Help Break Two MOC Records

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Three St. Francis swimmers combined to help the 13-14 Gold River Stingrays relay two break a pair of Northern California Meet of Champion records last weekend.

Rising junior Jenna Pimenta joined incoming freshmen Morgan Jones and Jordyn Larson and Gold River teammate Kaeli Savor to break the 200 medley relay record in a time of 1:56.56 to shatter the mark of 1;58.01. On the next night, they broke the 200 freestyle record with a time of 1:44.41 to edge the previous record of 1:44.56.

The meet include over 1,000 swimmers representing 51 teams in the two-day event.
