Sarah Cloninger Named Junior Varsity Basketball MVP

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sophomore Sarah Cloninger was named the Junior Varsity Basketball Most Valuable Player at the team's banquet last week. She led the team in scoring at 6.9 points per game.

Cloninger posted eight games in double figures last season. She was named to the all-tournament Winter Woodland Tournament and was the MVP at the Folsom-Vista Classic.

Sophomore Natalie Graybill received the Offensive Player of the Year. She was named to the Lady Pirates Holiday Classic, posting four games in double figures.

Sophomore Liz Rosendahl was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year. Sophomore Frankie Evers was named the Coaches' Award winner. Rosendahl and Evers were also named to the Lady Pirates All-Tournament team, while Evers garnered MVP honors at the Woodcreek Winter event.

Sophomore Julie SooHoo received the Team Award.

Head coach Gary Ender led the team a 23-5 record and a 9-3 record in Delta League play. The Troubadours won three tournament titles on the season (Woodland Winter Classic, Folsom-Vista Classic, Jan Ichiho Memorial Tournament).
