PITTSBURG, Calif. – The St. Francis junior varsity team lost in the finals of the Lady Pirates JV Holiday Classic Black Division to Pleasant Valley 45-39 on Saturday.

The Troubadours had three players named to the All-Tournament team, including sophomores Frankie Evers, Natalie Graybill and Elizabeth Rosendahl.

Graybill led the team in scoring against Pleasant Valley, scoring 10 points in the contest, averaging 7.7 points per game in the tournament.

Rosendahl scored a team-best 16 points in the 43-34 win over Heritage in the semifinals, scoring 29 points (9.7 ppg) in the tournament.

Evers had seven points in the championship game.

St. Francis (2-1) advanced to the championship game with wins over Heritage and Berkeley (38-35).

St. Francis returns to action in the Jan Ichiho Memorial tournament at Inderkum High School starting on Thursday.
